Despite arriving in the dark, from the moment we drove down the (somewhat steep but quite safe) drive, we knew the villa theia exceeded our expectations! Offering spacious accommodation with plenty of room for our family, all three generations, to live happily for a week without stress it was somewhat difficult to leave on a daily basis to explore Corfu! And returning to the haven of private veranda, beautiful pool, extended views across the sea and all the mod cons needed to make a relaxing holiday was bliss! Eating al fresco was made easy with great barbie equipment and well positioned seating. Inside Sara & Gary have thought of everything, including a cupboard full of games alongside dvds if you have the time or inclination in such a beautiful setting to watch tele. And the welcome pack was so good with cold beer to enjoy on patio before bed on first night and yummy bread & cheese with local olive oil for breakfast. They also have a contact for takeaways, very useful after a hard day at the beech. Locally we enjoyed walking down to the beach at Arrillas although back up tested our legs. The villa is positioned brilliantly for visits to other fantastic beaches such as St stephanos but a car is necessary really for this and further trips. Eating out was good with choices in Arrillas out we loved the local taverna, the Night Owl, run by Linda and Nick who welcomed us all especially our grandson. At the end of the week we all wanted to stay and we are sure our 4 year old grandson will not forget this holiday especially as on the last night his parents announced their engagement!
